Search is on for champs
The New Zealand Red Cross is on the lookout for breakfast champions.
As part of the second anniversary of its Breakfast in Schools programme the Red Cross is looking to acknowledge five of the volunteers who help run the scheme. More than 250 volunteers prepare 1400 breakfasts every day at 46 decile one schools across the country.
Winners will receive a Countdown grocery hamper for their efforts.
Communities and participating schools can nominate their break- fast champion at www. redcross.org.nz.
Nominations close on April 20 with the winners announced on May 4.
