Tee at the Civic for Kiwi show

An in­ter­na­tion­ally suc­cess­ful New Zealand­born star will en­ter­tain audiences at the Win­ter­gar­den later this month.

Hay­den Tee will per­form his new con­cert, Gen­er­a­tion Why? for the first time in New Zealand at the Civic The­atre on April 26.

The crit­i­cally ac­claimed show presents Gen­er­a­tion Y events vis­ually and acous­ti­cally to de­liver re­work­ings of pop­u­lar mu­sic from the era.

Mr Tee will per­form songs from artists in­clud­ing Michael Jack­son, Crowded House, Cyndi Lau­per, Dave Dob­byn and more.

Di­rected by Dar­ren Yap, the show will also fea­ture mu­si­cal di­rec­tor Nigel Ubri­hien on pi­ano and spe­cial guest Sheri­dan Har­bridge, win­ner of Aus­tralia’s Cabaret Show­case.

Mr Tee says there will be some­thing for peo­ple of ev­ery gen­er­a­tion.

Each song will re­flect a sig­nif­i­cant his­tor­i­cal and per­sonal event for Gen­er­a­tion Y such as the fall of the Berlin wall, the AIDS epi­demic and Ire­land con­flict.
