Fly­ing Kiwi Greg Mur­phy will spill the beans af­ter the Hamil­ton 400 at a fundrais­ing din­ner in sup­port of mul­ti­ple scle­ro­sis.

The mo­tor racing leg­end will an­swer fans’ ques­tions and ex­plain what re­ally makes the Holden hero tick.

Tick­ets for the 6.30pm three-course din­ner at the Ren­dezvous Ho­tel on Mon­day, April 20, are $100 or $950 for a ta­ble of 10.

Or­gan­is­ers say the event is the chance of a life­time for fans, be­ing held the day af­ter New Zealand’s most pres­ti­gious event, the Hamil­ton 400.

The V8 Su­per­car hero, four­time Bathurst win­ner and undis­puted king of Pukekohe will be in­ter­viewed by Peter Mont­gomery.

The Mul­ti­ple Scle­ro­sis Soci- ety will also get the pro­ceeds of a racing auc­tion and ran­dom door prizes in­clud­ing ac­com­mo­da­tion at the Ren­dezvous can be won.

If you can’t make the event but would like to do­nate to the fight against MS, which at­tacks the cen­tral ner­vous sys­tem, phone 0900 Yes 2 MS – 0900-937-267 – to do­nate $20. Your do­na­tion will be charged to your phone bill.

MS is most of­ten di­ag­nosed in peo­ple be­tween 20 and 40, and women are about three times more likely to de­velop it than men.

There is no cure but symp­toms can be man­aged.
