48-hour limit for filmmakers
It’s time for the country’s fastest filmmakers to put their best foot forward.
Entries are open for the V Energy 48-Hour Furious Filmmaking competition.
The contest, now in its seventh year, sees both experienced and first-time filmmakers create an entire short film from scratch in 48 hours.
Winning shorts from each city will compete against wild card entries selected by Peter Jackson during a television special shown on C4 and one will be crowned grand national champion.
More than 8000 cast and crew are expected to take part in this year’s contest.
For the second year running, there is also the chance to enter the V Energy 48 seconds warm-up competition where anyone with access to a camera can take up the challenge to recreate a famous movie scene.
The first heat will run over the weekend of May 8 to 10.
