Servilles: Transforming our next top models
The New Zealand’s Next Top Model series is currently heating-up television screens across the country. The nationwide search will ultimately result in one contestant becoming the series winner and New Zealand’s next top model.
Servilles, working with ghd, is the exclusive hair partner for the New Zealand series, providing creative direction for the hair and a team of exceptionally talented stylists for the stunning photo shoots and runway shows in each episode.
The hair team consists of some of Servilles’ most highly acclaimed and highly skilled stylists, many of whom are recent graduates from Servilles Academy.
“To be working on a show such as this is a dream come true for me,” says Olivia Davies, who graduated from Servilles Academy in 2007 and is now one of Servilles’ most promising stylists.
Paul Serville heads a team of 10 brilliant Servilles stylists who use their endless expertise to achieve the most striking international looks for each runway show, photo shoot and as seen recently, the famous ‘makeover episode’ where they transformed the remaining 11 contestants with stunning new makeovers.
The invitation to be involved with the inaugural series of New Zealand’s Next Top Model confirms Servilles’ position as the leader of New Zealand’s hairdressing industry.
Jennifer Thorpe, a Servilles Academy graduate, says: “I was so excited to be involved in the show. It’s because of opportunities like these that I chose to train with Servilles. It just opens so many doors creatively as a hairdresser.”
Top model Tyra Banks launched the hit reality show, America’s Next Top Model in 2003. Now in its 12th series in the USA, the high-stakes show is emulated in dozens of countries around the world, always working with the best local talent.
