Stars in ap­peal

The stars of Sione’s Wed­ding, Short­land Street and Ou­tra­geous For­tune are join­ing forces to help raise money for those af­fected by the Samoan tsunami.

Os­car Kight­ley, Rob­bie Ma­ga­siva, Shane Cortese and Fleur Sav­ille are among the fa­mous faces who will at­tend a spe­cial screen­ing of Sione’s Wed­ding to­mor­row night at SkyC­ity Cin­e­mas St Lukes and Manukau.

All pro­ceeds from ticket sales and do­na­tions go to the New Zealand Red Cross for the Samoa Earth­quake and Tsunami Ap­peal.

Sione’s Wed­ding and Short­land St star Rob­bie Ma­ga­siva hopes the screen­ings will gar­ner plenty of sup­port.

“On be­half of my fel­low cast mem­bers I’m call­ing on all Auck­lan­ders to come along to sup­port the re­build­ing of my mother­land.”

A num­ber of prizes in­clud­ing movie tick­ets, DVD packs, good­ies from bro’Town, Ou­tra­geous For­tune and Short­land Street will be auc­tioned off.

Tick­ets can be booked in ad­vance at www.skyc­ity cin­e­ for the spe­cial price of $9.

The screen­ing at West­field St Lukes starts at 6pm and West­field Manukau at 8pm.
