The beauty of New Zealand’s native timbers combined with expert Kiwi craftsmanship creates the furniture of timeless quality that you will find at The Wooden Furniture Store.

To highlight the opening of The Wooden Furniture Store’s new premises, the opening sale offers at least 25 percent off everything in store.

Here you have furniture for every room: Dining suites, coffee tables. cabinets, entertainment units, bed ends, hutches, desks, bedside tables, blanket boxes, bookcases and more. You can find both traditional and contemporary styles to suit the style and character of your home - and some unique designs that you will find nowhere else.

They are crafted mainly in sustainably harvested New Zealand rimu, and finished to a very high standard with a choice of lacquer, shellac and oil finishes. The Wooden Furniture Store specialises in New Zealand rimu, both new and recycled.

Some furniture stores sell pieces labeled “rimu” which are actually Pacific rimu rather than New Zealand rimu. Genuine New Zealand rimu is a harder wood which has a more distinctive grain, especially the heart wood.

If you don’t see exactly what you want in store, The Wooden Furniture Store can have it custom made for you. Just tell them what you want and they will design and build it to your requirements. You will have a unique piece of furniture that will become part of your family’s heritage.

Established for 17 years, The Wooden Furniture Store recently relocated from Manukau to Penrose and is now at 698 Great South Road - phone 580 1917.

The store is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 10am to 4pm. Photos of individual pieces and further information can be found at www. woodenfurniture.co.nz
