Free concerts are just the ticket
Music fans are turning out in their droves for Auckland Council’s free Music in Parks concerts.
More than 3500 people rocked out to homegrown band I Am Giant and support acts Fire At Will, Ekko Park and 71 Sunset at Three Kings Reserve last Saturday.
The event was the first of the series’ big gigs with performances from Auckland folk band Avalanche City and RnB act Adeaze still to come.
Avalanche City will perform at Kingsland’s Nixon Park on March 2. Pianist and composer Kevin Field will be performing at Albert Park on March 3.
