Choir schol­ar­ships of­fered

Vo­cal schol­ar­ships are be­ing of­fered to singers who make it into the Pitt St Methodist Church Choir.

Suc­cess­ful ap­pli­cants will re­ceive free singing tuition for the 2013 school year if they agree to sing with the choir for the year.

Di­rec­tor Robert How­ell says the group sings a va­ri­ety of songs from Re­nais­sance and Tu­dor an­thems to con­tem­po­rary mu­sic. Per­for­mances are dur­ing Sun­day ser­vices, from 10.30am un­til 11.30am, and choir re­hearsals are on Wed­nes­days from 6.15pm to 8pm.
