Spruce-up for Sandringham
Sandringham Village is getting a touch of the bright and arty.
Flags designed by artist Shannon Novak are hanging from lampposts in the village.
They’ve been installed by the Albert Eden Local Board and the Sandringham Business Association to try to spruce up the area and attract more trade.
Shop roller doors are next on the list to be transformed into works of art.
a depressing face to the world when the shops are closed,’’ local board member Helga Arlington says.
‘‘Sandringham is set to become a visually iconic destination, with uniquely coordinated artwork,’’ she says.
