Asian families with special needs children are invited to join a special crafting empowerment project.
The Asian Family Autism support group is running a project called Creative Empowerment for the Asian Community.
It aims to promote crafts to the Asian disability community.
The project is open to any Asian family with a special needs child, not just those with autism.
Organisers are keen to hear from families who would like to take part in the project.
The crafts are being taught at a workshop on the last Monday of each month at the Wilson Centre in Takapuna, from 10am to noon.
The next meeting will be on May 27.
