Seminar offers tips to avoid ‘disease of debt’
A seminar to help people who are struggling with their finances is being held later this month.
The free financial health check is being run by Baptist Savings, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to teaching people how best to reduce their debt and manage their personal finances.
The seminar is run by Baptist Savings business development manager Andrew L’Almont.
Mr L’Almont has worked in the banking and finance industry for more than 36 years and is a registered financial adviser. He is passionate about tackling the ‘‘disease of debt’’ and teaching people how to take control of their finances in order to live happy lives with much less stress.
During the seminar Mr L’Almont will give honest, impartial advice about managing money and help people come up with a plan of action for getting out of debt.
Everyone is invited to attend, whether or not they are a member of the church.
The free financial health seminar will be held on May 28 from 7.30pm at Hillsborough Baptist Church, 179 Hillsborough Rd.
Call the church office 625 5050 for more information.
