Classmates try out wheelchairs

‘‘Being an avid watcher of the television show Glee I thought it might be a cool idea to do what they did with all the kids dancing in chairs,’’ Miss Martin says.
The students are performing tonight at the ASB Theatre, Aotea Centre, and are doing one of their dances in wheelchairs.
Six chairs were loaned to the school by disability care equipment company Invacare.
Teachers decided getting their students to spend time in them in the lead up to the show would be a good eyeopener.
