The Stuttering Treatment and Research Trust (START) is running a fundraising evening tomorrow to raise awareness about challenges faced by those who stutter. Principal Youth Court Judge Andrew Becroft and Parents Inc founder Ian Grant are high profile New Zealanders who haven’t let stuttering stop them, Central Leader, July 5. Unfortunately our article incorrectly spelt the name of START speech therapist Janelle Irving. It should have read Irvine. We also referred to the event as an information evening, when it is in fact a fundraising event. We apologise for the mistakes. It is at The Parenting Place, 300 Great South Rd, Greenlane, from 7.30pm till 9.30pm and tickets cost $40. Go to stuttering.co.nz, email email@example.com or phone 379 6364.
