Ap­ply now for fes­ti­val

The third an­nual Fes­ti­val for the Fu­ture is be­ing held in Welling­ton in Novem­ber and peo­ple aged 16 to 25 are be­ing en­cour­aged to ap­ply for schol­ar­ships to at­tend.

The three-day fes­ti­val is held at Te Papa and brings to­gether more than 300 par­tic­i­pants to spark and grow ideas for a bet­ter New Zealand.

In­no­va­tive peo­ple and projects from a range of dis­ci­plines are cel­e­brated and the event in­cludes speak­ers, work­shops, sem­i­nars and pro­ject de­vel­op­ment ses­sions.

Top­ics in­clude un­pack­ing so­cial change, dig­i­tal story telling and so­cial en­ter­prise.

The schol­ar­ships aim to help young peo­ple ex­pe­ri­ence the fes­ti­val then con­trib­ute to their com­mu­ni­ties with their new­found skills, drive, and con­nec­tions.

The In­spir­ing Sto­ries Trust runs fes­ti­val to in­crease the vis­i­bil­ity, ca­pa­bil­ity and con­fi­dence of young Ki­wis mak­ing a dif­fer­ence.
