Financial workshop for young women
The YWCA is hoping to empower young women in money matters with a financial literacy workshop.
A recent survey of 18 to 20-year-olds revealed that more than half the people questioned had given no thought to their spending habits, ways to manage their money or financial goals, while two thirds are still not saving term.
With that in mind, YWCA Auckland is presenting Money Talks – financial literacy workshops for young women, sponsored by Women in Super.
Women between the ages of 17 and 25 are invited to join the workshop to hear from financial experts.
Group discussion and questions will be encouraged.
The Money Talks workshop is on September 4, 5.30pm-7.30pm, at 21 Scanlan St, Grey Lynn.
Spaces are limited, register by September 2 to ensure a spot.
