‘‘My favorite Christmas memories are as a young child having Christmas dinner with my grandparents. My grandmother used to go all out with the Christmas dinner. Every year I put out the handmade little Father Christmas she had on her Christmas table all those years ago.

‘‘She bought these back in the 1930s. They’re a little tatty now and not as glamorous as they once were but they remind me of her Christmas dinners. I could never part with them.’’ Colin Mathura-Jeffree: ‘‘Christmas is a big deal for myself and my family. The whole family gets together and there is so much food you end up suffering.’’

The model, actor and television personality is also a big art collector and there are a few works he hopes Santa has in his sack for him this year.

‘‘A funny Christmas memory is of my brother waking me up saying ‘I can hear Santa in the lounge’. We snuck down the hallway to look and . . . We just snuck back to bed.’’
