Sur­vival skills fo­cus at Mo­tat

The new ex­hi­bi­tion at Mo­tat this sum­mer is called Sur­vive. It ed­u­cates visi­tors on the skills they need to save their own life and those of oth­ers in emer­gency sit­u­a­tions. There are CPR ses­sions on the hour from 11am to 2pm in the ac­tiv­ity cen­tre.

Jump aboard a Mo­tat Air­lines flight and learn about in-flight safety and evac­u­a­tion tac­tics. Chil­dren un­der 14 can prac­tise evac­u­at­ing the air­craft on the in­flat­able aero­plane slide. Kids can make their own fire en­gines to take home and there are prizes for those who an­swer the Sur­vival Hand­book ques­tions.

The ex­hi­bi­tion runs un­til Fe­bru­ary 2, 10am to 5pm. A fam­ily pass for two adults and up to four chil­dren is $40.
