the road pass this point and this surely gives a bad im­pres­sion of un­ti­dy­ness to the younger gen­er­a­tion.

As an 83-year-old I en­deav­our to keep our street­side clean and tidy by pick­ing up pa­pers, bot­tles and other rub­bish.

We have our own berm mown but are not in a po­si­tion to deal with another one.

In my opin­ion there should be an of­fi­cial agency where street verges not cut and over a cer­tain height can be re­ferred for ap­pro­pri­ate ac­tion. This need not be a costly ar­range­ment as for ex­am­ple there are 40 houses/units in our street and it ap­pears only one has not been cut in re­cent times.
