A celebrated Indian composer and flautist will perform in Auckland for one night only next month. Rakesh Chaurasia, nephew and disciple of legendary flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia, will play the Indian bamboo flute accompanied by Blockhouse Bay tabla-player Basant Madhur. All money raised will go to the Shri Ram Mandir Charitable Trust. The concert is on March 8 from 6.30pm at the Dorothy Winstone Centre, Auckland Girls Grammar.
