A woman who thought she had been stung by a bee was alarmed to discover she had been shot in the knee with an air rifle. The incident happened on May Rd, Mt Roskill, near the Gilmours store at around 10pm on January 25. The woman thought she had been stung by a bee when she was hit and fell down. She went to hospital where X-rays showed an air gun pellet lodged above her right knee cap. The woman has recovered and police are investigating. Call 820 5763 with information.
