Sowing food for thought
One of the world’s best-known farmers will speak at a lunch in South Auckland this month.
Time magazine described Joel Salatin of Virginia in the United States as the world’s most innovative farmer.
He is speaking at the first Auckland South Business Lunch for 2014 when he is in New Zealand for a Fields of Farmers speaking tour. His presentation is said to appeal to business people and his farming philosophy has relevance for farmers today and anyone involved in buying, growing and eating food.
He has already entertained audiences in Australia by sharing how consumers can engage with the rural sector and how farmers can take control of production, succession, processing, distribution and marketing.
Fantastic farmer: US farmer Joel Salatin will speak at ATEED’s first Auckland South Business Lunch later this month.
