Pledge your support for the New Zealand Blood Service (NZBS) because every drop counts. The national blood service is encouraging more people to become blood donors or to spread the word to those who can to mark World Blood Donor Day tomorrow. NZBS loses up to 28,000 donors each year because of retirement, ill health or personal choice. One donation has the potential to save up to three people’s lives, NZBS spokesperson Asuka Burge says.
