abso- lutely beautiful. The residents who have received them are enjoying having them on their beds,’’ she says.
The Community Quilts programme means guild members can use their passion to support good causes.
‘‘How many quilts can you give to family? How many can you sell?’’ guild president Trisha Downie says.
Fabric and other materials are donated to the guild and members are encouraged to do whichever part of the creation process that they enjoy most.

‘‘We’re delighted to have given the quilts to such a good cause,’’ Downie says.
