Migrants tell their stories
Do you want to learn how former refugee women are making a difference in their communities?
The Making a Difference FriendsRaiser will showcase the work undertaken by the WISE Collective and the Safari Multicultural Play Groups.
Run by the Auckland Refugee Community Coalition and Auckland Regional Migrant Services, more than 240 women from 12 different countries are involved in these projects or have moved on to other enterprise, training or forms of employment.
Tickets are $65 per person or $60 per head for two or more tickets. All profits go towards the running of ARCC and ARMS community projects.
The event takes place at Grey Lynn’s Warnock House at 334 Richmond Rd at 7pm on December 10.
