Do you want to learn how for­mer refugee women are mak­ing a dif­fer­ence in their com­mu­ni­ties?

The Mak­ing a Dif­fer­ence Friend­sRaiser will showcase the work un­der­taken by the WISE Col­lec­tive and the Sa­fari Mul­ti­cul­tural Play Groups.

Run by the Auck­land Refugee Com­mu­nity Coali­tion and Auck­land Re­gional Mi­grant Ser­vices, more than 240 women from 12 dif­fer­ent coun­tries are in­volved in th­ese projects or have moved on to other en­ter­prise, train­ing or forms of em­ploy­ment.

Tick­ets are $65 per per­son or $60 per head for two or more tick­ets. All prof­its go to­wards the run­ning of ARCC and ARMS com­mu­nity projects.

The event takes place at Grey Lynn’s Warnock House at 334 Rich­mond Rd at 7pm on De­cem­ber 10.
