Producers of the country’s favourite outdoor Christmas party are looking for new talent to join some top performers on stage.

Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park will be held at the Auckland Domain on December 12 and in Christchurch on November 28.

Show directors Cherie Mathieson and Godfrey de Grut are searching for exciting new talent to join some of the better known entertainers who are now being recruited.

‘‘Christmas in the Park stage is an amazing platform for new talent to shine and be showcased,’’ Mathieson says.

‘‘We hope to meet the future stars of New Zealand music at this year’s auditions.’’

The two live concerts attract a massive audience of concertgoers and television viewers.

Aspiring performers are encouraged to apply online by submitting photos, video footage and/or a recording as stage one of the audition process.

Those who make the grade will take part in audition workshops later in the year.
