Kiwis who took part in Dry July 2016 have so far raised over $322,000. The funds will go towards helping people affected by cancer. Grant recipients include small regional hospitals and not-for-profit organisations. More than 2600 New Zealanders went booze-free for the month. The campaign is aimed at challenging social drinkers to change their habits for amonth and make some health and lifestyle changes. Donations will remain open until August 31.
