A group of artists are asking for historical photos of Onehunga. They are looking for individuals within the community who have images from the past in the area, particularly if they can tell the story associated with the image. The content will be used for a project called RE:TRACE which is designed to reflect and celebrate the heritage of Auckland neighbourhoods through storytelling and personal photographic archives. Copies of the images will be displayed, with credit at the upcoming Heritage Festival and Art Week. Bring your images to Onehunga Library on September 11 and 18 from 12pm till 3pm. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
