Wa­iatarua re­serve, Re­muera

This 2.5km loop through na­tive ur­ban wet­lands is a ver­i­ta­ble oa­sis hid­den in plane sight. It has ev­ery­thing you and your dog needs for a perfect morn­ing walk - a re­fresh­ing wa­ter-hole, plen­ti­ful sticks from a nearby wood, and many lush wide green spa­ces to let loose.

Ngataringa Park loop, Devon­port

This is a great walk to take in all the North Shore has to of­fer - with Devon­port’s wide se­lec­tion of al fresco din­ing to choose from on the way. Park up at the dog-friendly Ngataringa Park, and make a loop around Devon­port, North Head, Chel­tenham beach then back to the car.

Kaka­matua In­let, Corn­wal­lis

The in­let is of­ten touted as one of the best places to bring your dog to in Auck­land, with plenty wide flat beaches and the ocean to cool off in. Dogs are al­lowed off-leash as you fol­low the path out through bush to the beach and around the Corn­wal­lis head­land.
