School holiday inspiration

We’ve collated five of the best school holiday activities:

Central Leader - - LIFESTYLE & LEISURE -

New Zealand’s first Virtual Reality Arcade is buzzing with activities out of this world. There’s a retro gaming room with nostalgic games like Alex the Kid, PacMan, Donkey Kong and Space Invaders - or those kids of the 80s that never quite grew up.

BUTTERFLY CREEK

There’s something for everyone at Butterfly Creek and there’s no better time to visit than springtime. Baby lambs, bunnies and chicks are all on show and cuddle-friendly. You can also get up close with Scar The Crocodile or walk amongst more than 700 butterflies.

ROCKET ROPES

Whether you’re seeking some holiday adrenaline or a fun adventure, Rocket Ropes has it all. Ropes courses cater for all ages where anybody can test their climbing skills. If you’re game enough, jump on the giant swing, fly on a zip line, or leap from a five metre platform.

LOCK N LOAD

Paintball is the classic holiday activity, and Lock n Load has a new activity ready to explode. Arrow Tag is a safe and fun game that combines dodgeball and archery. Special foam-tipped arrows and bows are used so nobody gets hurt and it’s suitable for anyone aged 11 and up.

JUMP

JUMP is the perfect rainy day activity and you can visit any of the four locations to spring into action. These indoor trampoline parks have thousands of square metres of interlocking trampolines covering the floor. There’s also a foam pit that you can leap into, a trampoline dodgeball court and a basketball hoop.
