Win tickets to Perplex play at Herald Theatre
An award-winning German playwright’s ‘‘perplexing’’ comedy will be performed for the first time to Kiwi audiences.
We have a double pass to giveaway to the Silo Theatre Company’s performance of Perplex on November 12, 8pm.
Written by Marius von Mayenburg, the play is described as ‘‘an absurdist deconstruction of reality, identity and theatre itself’’. It pokes fun at everything from life in the digital age to contemporary relationships and understanding our place in the world.
From the appearance of an elk, Nietzsche and a Nazi to nude discussions of Darwin – this is one hell of a mind bender.
The show features a stellar cast including Natalie Medlock ( Shortland Street) Sam Snedden ( The Book of Everything) and in their Silo debuts Nic Sampson and Kura Forrester.
Perplex runs from November 10 to December 3 at Auckland Live’s Herald Theatre.
To enter the competition email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, suburb and phone number by November 6. Please put ‘Perplex’ in the subject line.
Note: this play includes an abundance of nudity and strong obscenities.
Perplex is showing at Auckland’s Herald Theatre until December 3.
