New Zealand Ter­tiary Col­lege is of­fer­ing high school leavers the op­por­tu­nity to be­gin study­ing to­wards an early child­hood ed­u­ca­tion qual­i­fi­ca­tion with a lim­ited time schol­ar­ship op­por­tu­nity. Stu­dents fin­ish­ing se­condary study in 2016 can save more than $4000 in tu­ition fees to­wards their first year of study. Re­cip­i­ents of the NZTC School Leavers Schol­ar­ship will pay only $1500 to­wards their ini­tial year of a bach­e­lor of teach­ing (early child­hood ed­u­ca­tion), cer­tifi­cate in early child­hood teach­ing (level 6) or cer­tifi­cate in early child­hood ed­u­ca­tion (level 5). The schol­ar­ship is avail­able for do­mes­tic stu­dents who be­gin study be­fore Fe­bru­ary 27, 2017. Go to nzter­tiary.ac.nz for de­tails.
