CELEBRATE ART DECO

The Auckland Art Deco Day Out is being held on March 19 at 150-year-old Highwic mansion in Newmarket. All things art deco will be celebrated at the mansion including live jazz performances and a sparkling array of classic cars. A range of stalls selling vintage products will be set up on the Highwic grounds. There will be a costume competition and awards will be given to the best dressed woman, man and child. A $5 admission fee allows people to look around Highwic, though it will pay to bring some extra cash to enjoy other attractions on site.
