Vot­ing for the elec­tion of six trustees to the Cen­tral Lakes Trust closes on Novem­ber 19, but al­ready deputy mayor Lyal Cocks has with­drawn his nom­i­na­tion be­cause of in­creased re­spon­si­bil­i­ties fol­low­ing the lo­cal body elec­tion. Any votes re­ceived for Mr Cocks will not be counted and are deemed void. The re­main­ing can­di­dates stand­ing for elec­tion are: Graeme Bell, Karin Bowen, Nick Brown, Peter Dowl­ing, Eion Edgar, John Hud­dle­ston, Alex Huf­fa­dine, Ber­nice Lep­per, Gillian MacLeod, Mal­colm Macpher­son, Lind­say McIn­tyre, Ross McRo­bie, Stu Mil­lis, Jane Mitchell, Bob Per­riam, Louise Ros­son, John Row­ley, Gor­don Ste­wart, Su­san Sy­mons, Mary Thomp­son, Greg Wilkin­son.
