It’s such a plea­sure and the best buzz to be play­ing this fes­ti­val. The first fes­ti­val (in 2011) was beau­ti­ful, hav­ing fam­ily and friends come to­gether in the most amaz­ing set­ting to cel­e­brate home­grown mu­sic. I’m proud of Down­town and the whole Queen­stown crew for what they’ve achieved – and they throw the best par­ties! Yeah, for sure I love the big crowds, but I’ll al­ways miss Sub­cul­ture (Down­town’s long­time Church St club which closed last year) days of be­ing crammed un­der­ground and not leav­ing till the sun comes up. I had an awe­some time mix­ing ShapeShifter on my fa­vorite sound sys­tem ever – the almighty DNB sys­tem. We will have the same rig this year too, so ex­pect some epic,

mas­sive sound. I’m very lucky to be able to play both sets at the one fes­ti­val, which is some­thing I’ve worked on over the years. Peo­ple are now used to the
