Water woes the least of the world’s problems

Unfortunately we live in a world where the dark side of mankind is a daily occurrence. This list of horror that befalls mainly innocent victims appears to be endless. Child abuse, rape, murder, school children shot, people blown to pieces in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, the list is endless. Then while this horror is being perpetrated there are people writing to their local paper complaining about the colour of the grass verges. Are they serious? What sad sad lives they must lead if they haven’t anything better to do. For goodness sake, get things into some sort of perspective and get a life! I’m sure the people of war torn Middle East would be over the moon if all they had to worry about was the colour of their grass. B. A Todd, Cromwell
