very tasty dish but, again, quite lean on the vegetables. The dessert menu was equally as interesting and therefore irresistible. On the advice of the very efficient waitress, my partner chose the white chocolate and Grand Marnier mousse in a lime tuille with plum jelly and fresh berries ($16.50). It was good advice – this was a delicious mix of sweet and fruit. I went for amore traditional dessert and was equally satisfied with my rhubarb creme brulee ($15). main dish mistakenly added to our bill was easily and quickly sorted out. The Landing has one of the Wanaka’s premium positions, upstairs on the corner of Ardmore St and Lakeside Rd overlooking the lake. Unfortunately it was a bit cool to sit on the deck the evening we dined there. The restaurant is sleek and modern but the tables are rather crammed so the conversations of other diners are easily overheard.
