Noted gospel musician here for national tour
Australian gospel musician Peter Shurley, who has won several awards, will perform throughout the region this month as part of a nationwide tour. The Tasmanian singer-song writer, instrumentalist and producer has just released his 17th album. His Carry You tour, in partnership with the child sponsorship organisation TEAR Fund, is playing in churches from Auckland to Invercargill throughout May. Tour promoters said Shurley was recognised as one of Australia’s most sought-after gospel artists for his multimedia format and his incredible electric violin skills. ‘‘Shurley is known for his finely crafted songs and meaningful lyrics. His multi-talented musical skill set showcases his intricate talent.’’
