The Fine Thyme Theatre Com­pany will present the play Death and Taxes to­mor­row, Fri­day and Satur­day at the Cromwell Col­lege Au­di­to­rium at 7.30pm. Tick­ets are avail­able from the Cromwell i-Site and cost $25.

Road up­grade

Ceme­tery Rd, on the out­skirts of Cromwell, will be given an up­grade which will in­clude in­creas­ing vis­i­bil­ity at the in­ter­sec­tion link­ing with State High­way 6 and seal­ing a 343 me­tre un­sealed sec­tion of the road. The in­ter­sec­tion up­grade was ex­pected to cost al­most $60,000, which would fall un­der the New Zealand Trans­port Agency bud­get and the seal­ing was ex­pected to cost $116,600, which will be in­cluded in the Cen­tral Otago Dis­trict Coun­cil’s mi­nor im­prove­ment works pro­gramme.
