Alexan­dra woman Daphne Ran­dle re­mains Cen­tral Otago’s knit­ting queen af­ter win­ning the Mir­ror- spon­sored WoolOn’s supreme award on Satur­day night. Judges’ spokes­woman Tracy Kennedy said the dress was tech­ni­cally ‘‘ab­so­lutely per­fect. It was fully hand-knit­ted with shap­ing in­cor­po­rated and fit­ted the model beau­ti­fully.
