What: Official opening of the Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold Trail. When: all day tomorrow Where: Breakfast is at 8am at Monteiths Brewery Bar in Alexandra. From 9am, walk to the start of the Roxburgh Gorge Trail where Central Otago Mayor Tony Lepper will cut the ribbon and those wishing to cycle the trail will head off. Official opening of both the Clutha Gold and Roxburgh Gorge Trails at Commissioner Flat at Roxburgh East at midday followed by a cycle to Lawrence where, at 4.30pm deputy Prime Minister Bill English and Waitaki MP Jacqui Dean will cut the ribbon at the start of the trail followed by a community barbecue at Simpson Park.
