Dancer joins golfers
Dancer and choreographer Cris Judd will be a celebrity player at the 2014 NZ Open at Arrowtown in February. He recently appeared on New Zealand television screen as a judge on New Zealand’s Got Talent with Rachel Hunter and Jason Kerrison. He has worked alongside celebrities including Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lopez who he was briefly married to. He has played top level golf and considered a career in professional golf before his dancing career took off. He will travel with wife Kelly and newborn daughter Vivienne.

Colourful US Champions Tour player Rocco Mediate is joining the field at the New Zealand Open at Arrowtown in February. Best known for his play-off loss to Tiger Woods in the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines GC, he was awarded the ‘‘rookie of the year’’ title for his first year on the Champions Tour in 2013. He has career earnings of $US16.6m, having won six times on the PGA Tour and twice on the Champions Tour.
