Fancy a little bouncy castle with your pinot noir? How about some face painting?

Organisers of the Gibbston Wine and Food Festival have ensured entertainment for all of the family at this year’s event.

Andrew Price of the The Children’s Activities Directory and QT Creative Kids is in charge of family entertainment and will provide bouncy castles, spin painting, face painting by Spitfire Face Painting, a shaded area to relax with some colouring, and competitions including dancing and hula hopping.

Bigger ‘‘kids’’ will be entertained by the Queenstown Jazz orchestra while sampling the local wine and food.

Organiser Peter Doyle said there would be music from the big band era of the 1940s and 1950s including Frank Sinatra numbers and more modern Michael Buble interpretations.

Singers would include Doyle and Rachael Gerard.

‘‘You can’t beat live jazz with a glass of wine.’’

Committee member Julie Hughes said the focus of the day was around bringing people together.

Kids’ stuff: QT Creative Kids will entertainchildren at the Gibbston Wine and Food Festival.
