Ladi6 com­ing to town

The re­gion is be­ing spoilt for entertainment choice with a range of gigs by New Zealand mu­sic leg­ends be­ing held in town.

Tonight Ladi6 will join Team Dy­na­mite for a gig at Mint Bar.

They play Loco Cantina in Queen­stown on Thurs­day night.

Ladi6, also known as Karo­line Ta­mati, will be per­form­ing songs with her band from her third al­bum Au­to­matic, which was re­leased last year, and Auck­land hip-hop col­lec­tive Team Dy­na­mite will be on hand to show­case their laid-back, jazz-in­flu­enced mu­sic.

For­mer Wanaka mu­sic pro­ducer the No­mad, also known as Dai­mon Sch­wal­ger, will then put his lat­est bass al­bum, 7, on the loud­speaker at a free show at Wa­ter Bar on Au­gust 23.

Pop punk fans will be treated to a per­for­mance by DIE! DIE! DIE! at Pulse Bar on Au­gust 28.

The Dunedin band will be also be pro­mot­ing their fifth al­bum, Swim.

Grammy-nom­i­nated Kiwi coun­try singer Peter Caulton will bring a taste of coun­try to town, pre­sent­ing a Johnny Cash trib­ute, and other Ir­ish tra­di­tional melodic lyri­cal mu­sic, at Fitz­patricks Ir­ish Pub on Au­gust 29.

Tick­ets will be sold to the Ladi6 and DIE! DIE! DIE! shows, whereas the No­mad and Caulton shows will be free en­try.
