Ladi6 coming to town
The region is being spoilt for entertainment choice with a range of gigs by New Zealand music legends being held in town.
Tonight Ladi6 will join Team Dynamite for a gig at Mint Bar.
They play Loco Cantina in Queenstown on Thursday night.
Ladi6, also known as Karoline Tamati, will be performing songs with her band from her third album Automatic, which was released last year, and Auckland hip-hop collective Team Dynamite will be on hand to showcase their laid-back, jazz-influenced music.
Former Wanaka music producer the Nomad, also known as Daimon Schwalger, will then put his latest bass album, 7, on the loudspeaker at a free show at Water Bar on August 23.
Pop punk fans will be treated to a performance by DIE! DIE! DIE! at Pulse Bar on August 28.
The Dunedin band will be also be promoting their fifth album, Swim.
Grammy-nominated Kiwi country singer Peter Caulton will bring a taste of country to town, presenting a Johnny Cash tribute, and other Irish traditional melodic lyrical music, at Fitzpatricks Irish Pub on August 29.
Tickets will be sold to the Ladi6 and DIE! DIE! DIE! shows, whereas the Nomad and Caulton shows will be free entry.
