Inkster rows to world champ title

Tour de Wakatipu gains new sponsor
The Tour de Wakatipu, one of the biggest mass participation cycling events in the South Island and part of the Queenstown Bike Festival, has a new sponsor for next year. Outdoor clothing and footwear company Merrell will take over the sponsorship of the event from long-time supporter New World Wakatipu. Merrell New Zealand distributor, Nevada Sport managing director Hamish Cochran said the move was a logical step after the brand’s long association with the tour.
