Wanaka’s four athletes at the World Xterra Championships in Hawaii are all returning home with top 10 places. Defending world champion Nicky Samuels, 31, was third in the elite women’s category. In the age group categories were Mike Johnston (6th in men’s 45-49), Andrew McLeod (10th in men’s 55-59) and Fiona Reid (8th in women’s 45-49).
The Perfect Woman 2014 competition has once again sent many people home happy. The winner was Gore woman KJ NcNoe.
