An Alexandra health practice is expanding its service.

Alexandra Health is moving next month to a bigger premises from Tarbert St to 113 Centennial Avenue.

Dr Neki Patel, a internationally certified chiropractic sports practitioner, said the patient-oriented service would not change— but be enhanced with an additional room and more staff joining the practice.

Alexandra Health offered an integrated model whereby services included a chiropractor, physiotherapist, acupuncturist and massage therapist.

‘‘It’s sort of a one-stop multipractice shop with a highly experienced health team who use the integration model,’’ Patel said.

Chiropractor Simon Burke, who has been practising since 2009, will operate out of the Alexandra branch.

The integration model was one used with top athletes, Patel said.

Patel had worked on various high-profile rugby players and with the Australasian PGA since 1998.

He was the chiropractor for the New Zealand Commonwealth Games team to Manchester, and had treated members of international ski and ice hockey teams.

Alexandra Health will move to the new premises on April 13.

One stop: Neki Patel, clinic principal, and his team, Simon Bourke, chiropractor; Kelly Bowry, physiotherapist; Yuki Sueyoshi, acupuncturist, and See Yin Ang, massage therapist.
