In a submission to the council’s 10 Year Plan Dick Kane, on behalf of Central Otago Health Incorporated, has requested funding of $1514 to $1540.

‘‘It has been felt for a number of years that QLDC should have been paying their share of the cost for the administration.’’

There was a long history of involvement between the ward and Dunstan Hospital and people from the entire region, including Queenstown, used the hospital for CT scans, specialist appointments and chemotherapy treatments, he said.
