Be­hind the scenes work paramount to suc­cess

A lot of be­hind the scenes work is car­ried out to en­sure the Wanaka A and P Show is a suc­cess year af­ter year. But it’s not as sim­ple as get­ting stall hold­ers, spectators and en­trants to make their way to the site. They also have to en­sure all health and safety re­quire­ments are met, and those peo­ple at­tend­ing have their ba­sic needs met too. Com­mit­tee mem­bers put pen to pa­per year af­ter year to tick off all those musthave items. It takes time, money and fore­thought, but you can cer­tainly thank the com­mit­tee for your com­fort wher­ever you are at the show­grounds. The com­mit­tee are a ded­i­cated team of lo­cals, and they are pas­sion­ate about pro­duc­ing the best event pos­si­ble, en­sur­ing the no­tion of town meets coun­try is de­liv­ered in a pro­gres­sive and vi­brant way.
