Behind the scenes work paramount to success
A lot of behind the scenes work is carried out to ensure the Wanaka A and P Show is a success year after year. But it’s not as simple as getting stall holders, spectators and entrants to make their way to the site. They also have to ensure all health and safety requirements are met, and those people attending have their basic needs met too. Committee members put pen to paper year after year to tick off all those musthave items. It takes time, money and forethought, but you can certainly thank the committee for your comfort wherever you are at the showgrounds. The committee are a dedicated team of locals, and they are passionate about producing the best event possible, ensuring the notion of town meets country is delivered in a progressive and vibrant way.
