QT to get Noo­dle Mar­kets

First there were night flights land­ing in Queen­stown, now there will be Night Noo­dle Mar­kets to add to the re­sort’s in­ter­na­tional ap­peal.

The pop­u­lar hawker-style foodie event will run for five nights in the school hol­i­days, from Septem­ber 28 to Oc­to­ber 2, along the Queen­stown lake front.

Fair­fax Me­dia NZ Events Man­ager Brett McMeekin said they were try­ing to em­u­late the back streets of Hong Kong and Sin­ga­pore: ’’a hus­tling, bustling, busy, smokey en­vi­ron­ment with lots of food, which you wouldn’t nor­mally try.’’
