QT to get Noodle Markets
First there were night flights landing in Queenstown, now there will be Night Noodle Markets to add to the resort’s international appeal.
The popular hawker-style foodie event will run for five nights in the school holidays, from September 28 to October 2, along the Queenstown lake front.
Fairfax Media NZ Events Manager Brett McMeekin said they were trying to emulate the back streets of Hong Kong and Singapore: ’’a hustling, bustling, busy, smokey environment with lots of food, which you wouldn’t normally try.’’

Asian specialties for between $5 and $12 a plate during the evenings.
